My name is Chad I am 36 years old and the father of twin 4 year old girls. I am having my surgery on either Oct 23, 2008 or the 30th. My friends are throwing me a "last supper" at work this week. They are going to bring in all my favorite foods for a big party before my liquid pre-op diet starts. It is great to have such support from friends:thumbup:

That is a great idea! Like smsmithart, I had several "last suppers" prior to my pre-op diet. Having a party with friends and all my favorite foods all at once would have been so much better. To have all your friends together to celebrate this new phase in your life is really cool!

I think that is a great idea! and wonderful you have so much support!!! I had one with my hubby and girls on Monday night ( I started liquid diet on Wednesday). Best of luck to you. My surgery date is the 22nd. If you want a surg buddy list me as one of your friends and we can keep up with each other on our successes. Kelli
