  3. I was not even hungary for the first few days ( I was banded 12-18-08) Now a little past 2 weeks out the swelling has gone down in the stomach and I get a little hungary. I have not found anything I can not eat yet, but if I eat to fast I get a great deal of pressure in my upper stomach area...so I guess the band is there. I would not belive it if was not for the pressure. I have lost around 12 pounds my first 2 weeks. I now mainly eat the chicken in a can mixed with low fat mayo and/or mustard, all kinds of soups ( it is nice to get full on soup now), Yogurts and sugar free pudding and jello. also cooked brocolli. I have had some trouble with jello though. I feel uncomfortable after i eat itsometimes
  4. i have had really BAD BAD BAD dirareah yesterday and part of today,,,The noises my stomach is making is loud and scary.
  5. I was banded on thursday 12-18-2008. I do not feel any restrictions, but I am not hungary. I have had 2sugarfree jellos, one light yogurt, and some french onion broth. I ate the last Jello too fast and it felt a little like choking. n2bater72
  6. Hello all, My name is chad. I have been trying for months to get my insurance to aprove the lapband.......YEA!!!!!!!!! they finally did. I am being banded 12-18-2008. I started looking into wls after I got on a roller coaster that I have been trying to ride for years. Every time I went to the park something happened to keep me off the ride....line to long, breaking down, once I even sat in the seat was all locked in and it started to lightening and they closed the ride. This year I went waited in line sat in the seat, and the belt did not fit. I had 3 people trying to cram the harness down, then I had to take the walk of shame in front of eveyone to exit the ride. I was so embarrassed that I lied to my wife and told her I did not ride it because the harness hurt my shoulder I had broken in a car wreck a year earlier. That is when I said enough is enough.

  8. My name is Chad I am 36 years old and the father of twin 4 year old girls. I am having my surgery on either Oct 23, 2008 or the 30th. My friends are throwing me a "last supper" at work this week. They are going to bring in all my favorite foods for a big party before my liquid pre-op diet starts. It is great to have such support from friends:thumbup:
