My name is Jim, i am from chicago. i am going to have a surgery in a few months. my BMI is 52.

hi , glad you are here. i plan to be banded soon also just waiting on the surgery date . i have already been approved by insurance & have had all of the test. maybe we will be banded around the same time,. good luck there are alot of really nice people here that care & are very informative. sandie

Good luck with everything. I just had my surgery last month and have to say the process can seem a bit much but it's worth it in the end.

Hi Jim, I am in the process of getting approved by insurance (looks good!) and then completing all the tests. Wanted to have surgery in July, but I'm not sure about when. I've been warmly welcomed here and know you will be, too. Read all the sticky notes in each area...I've found lots of great info there! Cindy
