Ya'll knew I just had to say Roll Tide now, don't ya? Ha! I was banded last week on the 23rd. I'm still very nervous and very sore. I had a hernia repair along with the band, so I had a bit more done. The surgery went great!, better then the hernia surgery I had in '06. I'm not sure what to expect with discomfort and as far as feeling the band, I havent yet. I just want to lose this weight and get back to living. I have 3 wonderful kids, 2 in college and 1 in high school, A wonderful husband that I adore and a pasture full of horses that I havent been able to ride and hope by spring, I will be able to hit the trails!!

Welcome to the Forum. Dr Groves did my surgery too. I'm saw him this morning and got an appointment for my 4th fill. Roll Tide!

Just wanted to update all of you on the new support group that's starting in Huntsville next month!

This new addition will officially launch next month (November).

Monthly - Support Group - Gastric Banding 1st Thursday of the month 5p-6p Huntsville Hospital - Medical Mall - Wellness Center.
