I definitely would not spend alot of money on a product you have never tasted. There are so many different protein products out there, it took several before I even found one I liked. I would hate for you to order something very expensive and not be able to use it. I have never tasted pure whey.

Oh honey...stop the presses! I prefer EAS, Muscle Milk, or Atkins. They all are low sugar, high protein. My nutritionist told me they should have at least 15 grams of protein. The protein I ordered (under her recommendation) was horrible and it left the most painful gas on my stomach. Besides, the ones I mentioned above are ready-to-drink.

I haven't tasted pure whey but I will suggest not spending that amount of money on protein. There are some really good tasting ones that you can get at the grocery store. I really like slim fast low carb. They are very creamy but don't taste mediciny. I also have found that even if the powder doesn't taste good that you can add sugar free flavor and make it taste like you want it to. I ordered some sugar free syrup from Davinci's website and it is awesome. It taste like it came from a gourmet coffee shop. I had a big bottle of protein that I hated to throw away but it tasted awful. When I added the flavor it tasted good. Just my 2 cents. I am an impulse shopper and I have been suckered so many times thinking that I am buying something so awesome and then it ends up being not all that. Good Luck with your decision.

Definitely do NOT spend a bunch of money on Protein powder. I get EAS pure whey Protein Powder from Sam's Club (3 lb bag) for $30. It's 91 servings of 23 protein grams, comes in vanilla or chocolate and tastes pretty good. Walmart and Target also carry this brand, but it's in smaller more expensive bags.

You may (I did) get tired of sweet Protein drinks, so also try AnyWhey pure whey protein isolate (unflavored) $35 for 2 lbs. It has very little flavor, so it was great to mix in with broth.

I prefered the whey protein to the soy protein. Soy seemed to be a little more chalky. You don't need to spend much money to get high quality protein.

Good luck

Don't do it . . . best to try samples. There is nothing worse than spending a lot of money on something that makes you gag whenever you taste it. Get some cheap samples and then make a decision.
