Hi, im so excited and anxious at the same time. I got my approval one day and the next day I got my date! I think it's all going too fast for me. I can't wait till the big day that's going to be the rest of my healthy life!:confused:

Congrats on your date! How long did it take after your paperwork was submitted before your approval? I too am waiting on approval but I talk to my surgeon's asst. and she hasn't received all of my stuff yet. (my last 6 mo appt was the 18th)I hope to hear something by the end of the week. Hi, it didnt take long at all. My Dr. submitted it to uhc on the 26th of august, and by the 13th of september, i was approved! Now, i have heard that it can take even days, depending on your insurance co. There was an issue that the nurse that works for the insurance thought that my dr. hadnt sent over all the clinical, so when she spoke to my dr, they told her that they had already sent it, so it probably was sitting on her desk and she overlooked it. It usually takes anywhere from 1 week to 4 weeks for approval. Just stay on top of it and keep calling, thats what i did. lol. i went for my preops today, the chest xray and the ekg went well, im sure the blood work will be ok too. i do have a little cold so they gave me some antibiotics to clear it up before next wednesday. They wont do the surgery if you have a bad cold! :girl_hug:

how did you get that tracker? do you have to pay for it, i think they are real cute!
