12 cc band...no restriction

I was banded on 7/31 and was filled 2.6cc. 8/30 was filled 3 cc and still no restriction. I can eat bread, pizza, just about everything. When should I start feeling some restriction. Help !!! I'm getting frustrated!

Hello,

You start felling restriction about the 3rd or 4th fill, Plus you shouldn't be eating anything and everything or you will gain during this time. Try eating a high Protein low carb diet to keep you on track. Good luck on your journey.

I was banded on 7/10 and I have a 9cc band. I got my second fill week before last. They told me it generally takes 4 to 5 fills to get you where you need to be. She said some people may take even more but the majority need 4 to 5 fills. I'm calling today to schedule my next fill. Hope this helps,

Waynette

Hi Lynne

I was banded a few weeks before you and have had 2 fills so Ive not got a lot of experience. But what i will say is that my doc told me that most people on average need about 4 fills to get a good restriction. I know its prob not wot u want to hear but I think the word here is patience!! My doc tells me Ive been expecting too much too soon and I must be patient, it will come good!
