Hi everyone!

I've done my homework and I've decided to look into getting the band. I've struggled up and down with my weight my whole life and I've made a decision that I need to do something to gain control for my health. I'm in the Pittsburgh area and would love to hear about experiences with local drs in the area if anyone would like to share them. In the meantime what an inspiring and insightful group! I look forward to getting to know and learn from all of you

Hi! Good for you for making the decision. I'm from Illinois, but thought I'd wish you luck anyway! I had my band put on Aug. 6th - my first fill is this Tuesday. Can't wait! I'm down 30 pounds since July 15 when I began the preop diet. Exercising regularly and feeling great! Hope you have HUGE success!
