Surgery will be August 15

Hi everyone,

I am scheduled for surgery August 15. I am very excited but also a bit jittery. Planning to be stoic about all this. I am looking forward to getting this extra weight off me.

My doctor is John Debarros in Phoenix/Tempe Arizona. He specializes in both types of weight loss surgery.

I am also to be banded Sept 15th. I am super excited and super nervous all at the same time! Good luck to us. Tamara

Good luck to you, Tammy. Do you have to start on a presurgery diet soon? Bryn

I am scheduled for August 15th, too! Just 2 days away. Like you, I am a little nervous.....I guess it is normal to question some things....like

will it work? what if I don't loose the weight? will I be hungry (especially the first 2 weeks after surgery)?

Good luck...and let's keep in touch with our progress

Hi Patrick, Good to hear from you. I, too, am afraid I will be the one who mysteriously doesn't lose weight. Oh, but that isn't realistic. I will be thinking of you, well maybe, before the slip the happy juice into my veins.

It's the beginning of a new way of life for us. healthier and slimmer. Good luck to you. Keep in touch.

I have been told that I will be uncomfortable very uncomfortable the day after surgery. So tell your friends to lay low that day.

Bryn
