August 12, 200817 yr Has anyone tried dipping pretzels into laughing cow cheese wedges? That is if they still eat pretzels. I'll be sad if my band can't handle them when I get it. :wink2:
August 12, 200817 yr laughing cow cheese wedges?:wink2: that's pretty healthy. if and when i've felt like a dipping pretzel -it's either in nutella or jarred queso. maybe eventually you'll be able to eat pretzels after your banded.
August 12, 200817 yr Author mmmm queso lol I wont be banded until november I hope i can still eat pretzels after though.
August 13, 200817 yr haven't had pretzles in a LONG time~ were a favorite, just too hard to get down last i tried...and can't remember when that was:frown:
August 13, 200817 yr Author hmmm I hope I can still eat them...it's one of my alltime favorites besides beef jerky...can you guys still eat beef jerky?
August 13, 200817 yr I spread Laughing Cow cheese on Melba Toast wafers. Easy to chew and easy to get down. The wafers come in a few different flavors and are 60 cal. for 5. Don't think I am willing to try pretzels. Was a favorite but don't miss them.
August 13, 200817 yr Author At this current sime I spread laughing cow cheese on triscuits. Nice and yummy.
August 13, 200817 yr can you guys still eat beef jerky? ostrich jerky - i get it thru my trainer and it's much easier to eat than beef jerky. one stick is 60 calories & 17 grams of Protein..., i typically get this after a really hard workout.
August 13, 200817 yr I think I can still eat them - I've tried to avoid them though because they are something that pre-band I could just sit and eat blindly. I LOVE LAUGHING COW CHEESE! My favorite way to eat it comes from an old 70's era classic appetizer (I warn you it does not sound appetizing but tastes amazing) spread laughing cow cheese on a thin slice of hard salami and then place a mini sweet gerkhin pickle (mt olive makes one made with splenda) and roll up and enjoy - it satisfies all my creamy rich, salty, sweet cravings and the pickle gives it a little crunch. Trust me I know how it sounds - but oohh so good!:whatchutalkingabout
August 13, 200817 yr Have not tried beef jerky since being banded. Has anyone tried the soft types of jerky (i.e. the nugget kind)?
August 13, 200817 yr pretzels here are a little crisp baked snack, typical pretzel shape but crunchy and come in a packet like chips. They had a franchise out here that did the big soft bready type pretzels but it didnt do well here. But I did just eat 2 laughing cow cheese wedges. I buy them for the kids' lunchboxes, but man, I love those things.
August 13, 200817 yr I have 6.3 cc in a 10cc band and am still able to eat pretzels AND jerky...I probably still need to go a little tighter.
