new bander two weeks post-op

Hi all,

I was banded on 7/28 and for the first week I wasn't really interested in looking at food because I was in such pain from gas. I stuck with clear liquids and my dr moved me on to mushies last Thursday. My question is this: Is scrambled eggs a mushie? What about tuna fish? I am still consuming about 500 calories a day in protien drinks and added a yogurt a day. The first week I lost 12 pounds, but haven't lost anything since then.:wink2: I think my body may think it is starving and its holding back. Is that possibe?:cool2:

Thanks!

I made tunafish salad and chicken salad but I pureed everything first. Scrambled eggs are allowed during the mushy phase. I made scrambled eggs with a spoonful of salsa and cheese melted on top. Yummy! I also bought Healthy Request Chunky soup and pureed it.

Mushies are foods that are blended - I still have 2 weeks to get there! Just make sure you blend the food, combos until they are smooth, no lumps or bumps!

You can check out the mushie recipies on this site, some look yummy!
