I am in Wisconsin where most of us are grieving the loss of Brett Farve. :thumbup:

Moving beyond that grief, I am finally moving to the phase where my doctor is submitting my "packet" for insurance approval. I have been trying not to be afraid of rejection and keep trying to think positively. I have been considering this surgery for years and now that I finally made the decision to move forward, I want to get the approval and not have to fight with an insurance company over my decision and my body and my health. Wish me luck.

Welcome to the site, don't get to worked up about the approval process, if the deny it at first then you will appeal. If the doctor has the packet put together well then they might approve it first time. Mine was approved within a few hours of being recieved. Now i am just waiting for next week to have the band. i'm right there with you. Mine was just submitted also. Honestly though, i have not given any thought to being denied. I just know it's what god has for me. Good luck to you.
