Numbness does anyone have this

Recommended Posts

I am 6 days post op and i was sitting at work and just realized that my stomach feels numb. Between one of my larger bruises and one of the smaller ones. I don't think that it was like this?? Maybe it was. It is about 2 inches above my belly button. Very Strange I think? Oh and my stomach by the incisions has been getting itchy, healing up pretty good, but still very bruised.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Sue

oh thank you for your reply. I've been thinking so much about this because it has really been bothering me. maybe because i was so bloated from the gases it was like that from the beginning and i didn't realize. I'm happy to hear that i am not the only one. Thanks

Sue

I've had surgery in the stomach area a couple of times and have numbness everytime. The numbness from my gallbladder surgery didn't go away for over a year, but then again I had a huge scar.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
