I'm starting to get really worried... my throat is starting to hurt, I have a bunch of mucus coming up, my nose is stuffy and I've just started coughing! :thumbup: What should I do to hurry up and get rid of this my surgery is August 21st?

I was worried because I had a nasty bout of food poisoning and I called my doc's office. She told me not to worry as long as it had cleared my system I would be okay. Just call your doc's office to see if they have any restrictions in place for this sort of thing but you should be okay. Good luck!:thumbup:

I am not trying to scare you but you should DEFINITELY mention this to your Dr. ESPECIALLY if you aren't feeling well closer to your surgery. Bad things can happen if you asperate, etc. during surgery. Better to be safe than sorry! I wouldn't do any kind of surgery with even a tummy ache or a sniffel. Talk to your Dr. first.
