hello everyone from newbie

My name is candace. Just joined this site. I am scheduled for surgery 8/13/08. I am having pre-op testing done in the morning. I have to be there at 6:30 a.m. That would not be a problem except I have 3 children to get ready for day care also. My daycare doesn't even open till 6:30. Hope it all works out somehow. Anyway, i justed wanted to introduce myself.

thank you. I can't wait either. I had all my pre-op stuff done yesterday. I have had a headache every since the drugs started wearing off. They gave me versed and fentanyl to knock me out for the endoscopy. Now that the testing is over, I'm like let's get this over with. i am also self-pay. Best money i will ever spend though in my opinion. i am also having foot surgery next week( plantars fascitis), so six days after that i will be banded. I will be off work for 6-8 weeks b/c of the foot surgery, so i thought why not go ahead and get banded at the same time and only miss work once! Good luck to you also, keep in touch and let me know how you r doing
