Anyone else doing pre-op diet and not hungry?

I have been doing pre-op for a week now and I am just not hungry. I have been replacing my meals with the shakes and have a small healthy meal in the evening. I am still nursing my shake from lunch and it is now 5:45!:wink2: I have lost about 10 pounds since I started but I am concerned if I should still force myself to eat ( or drink) when I am not hungry.

I've been on pre op for 2 days,, surgery tomorrow morning... I've had 1 low carb slim fast each day and 2 cps of chcken broth.. not hungry either.. yiipppeeee!!!

That is awesome!!!! I start my liquid diet on Monday, 2 weeks from my surgery day. My dietician told me that I will NOT be hungry, but then I read otherwise on here, so I wondered! I am suppose to drink 6 shakes a day, equaling like 900 calories and a whole lot of Fiber ha!

But, if I am absolutely NOT hungry, then I don't think I'm going to force myself to keep drinking them. I would just make sure you drink enough of them to get all of your Protein, etc. in. But, I'm no doctor. I'm excited to see what other people say & I'm hoping I'm in the same situation as you next week!!! :wink2: Good luck with everything!
