New and Excited

Hi my new friends! I am a 30 year old assistant principal that has dealt with weight her whole life. I have recently started the process of getting all my stuff in for lap-band surgery. I have my physical this week and next week I go to my psych eval. I know it's a process to get to the actual surgery, but I can't wait. I am excited to start a new life. I know it will be a tough road, but absolutely worth it. I look forward to stories, tips, and advice from those of you who have already undergone surgery.

Hi KellyO,

Just wanted to wish you luck on the start of your weightloss journey! If you are going through the insurance process, it does take quite a bit of time, so be patient. It will all be worth it in the end. I am sending good thoughts your way...
