Hi Everyone,

My surgery date is June 8th and my insurance company has given the green light. I have my pre admission testing next tuesday and then surgery the following Wed. I am extremely nervous now that it is finalized. I am getting cold cold feet...so need some support and advice.

Just go in there knowing and thinking in your mind "It's about to be a healthier me!!" It will be over before you know it. When you get out be sure to follow the doctor's orders, and dont over do it. And guess what?!?!? Thas it! I hope you have a successful surgery (SURE U WILL) and a healthier life! Peace & Blessings

Maria you will be just fine. We all got that way nervous, Sad, Scared and wanting to back out but I agree you will be just fine when it is over.

Good luck. If your doctor puts you on a pre-op diet it was become more real. I think yesterday was my day to flip out. Today - no solids - even though I haven't had solids before evening for a week, the mental part of that is tough for me.

Congradulations! It will be here before you know it. You will have all kinds of feelings between now and the surgery, but it is normal.
