chewable multi vitamin advice

Hi. I was banded a week ago and my doctor wants me to start on a chewable mulit tomorrow. Anyone have any suggestions as to which brand is one of the better ones? Thanks so much.

I take Centruim chewables...It's the regular Centruim but their chewables instead...they also have it in liquid form. They are good...

I had this talk today with my surgeon. In our class they said the chewable flinstones. At my appt I asked if the chewable centrium was ok because I can't see how a childrens vitamin is great for an adult. He said thats a great vitamin and he's going to stop recomending the chewable flinstones because thats now outdated from what they've learned about lapbanding.

I also take the Centrum Orange Chewable Vitamins. My Dr. stopped recommending the 2 Childrens Vitamins also.

Bariatric Advantage has lots of chewable vitamins, minerals and much more. You can order online and get them a couple of days later delivered to your door.:thumbup:

I take the Bariatric Advantage Vitaband chewables. They are specially designed for lap-band patients. I also take Bariatric Advantage Calcium lozenges. Because my Dr. said that you should also up your calcium since your bones wont get the good work-out they get currently by lugging all your weight around.

They told me to take 1200 mg a day of calcium and 1200 mg of vitamin D3. That was the advice of the nutritionist from Blue Cross. Did they tell you this also?

I take chewable Flintstones too. This same question was asked a little while back and someone said that Flintstone Vitamins were not a good choice and not strong enough for adults. So I asked my surgeon, he said that healthy Children ages 4 and above and healthy adults need the same nutrient amount and the dosage of Flintstones are the same for anyone ages 4 and above.

I also take Caltrate Plus D chewable.

I take a chewable viactiv chocolate multivitamin and a chewable viactiv calcium caramel every day. They are yummy and at the same time gives me my sweet kick. Good luck!
