Hi...... I am only just over a week post op, I have still not got my appetite back at all... this could be a good thing.. BUT my weight appears to have stopped going down and i think it may be because i'm not eating enough calories.......... has anyone else found this??

I've lost 12lb since surgery but the scales havent moved for the last 3 days... I just want to do well and I get so full from drinking Water I cn go all day without eating.....

I will be a week post op tomorrow and I also find that my appetite is not so big. Although some points of the day I start getting really hungry but that eventually goes away. I also have a hard time getting enough calories in because I don't have that much of an appetite. So i'm right there with you.

I have an appetite but physically can't get the liquids in... I am 5 days out. I don't seem to have enough hours in the day to get them in now. But the cooking smells from the kitchen as hubby and daughter cook various things smell delicious. I just have to be strong and stay strong, however the hunger pangs do go after a while so I am just keeping on going.

I'm 6 days post opt and yesterday was the 1st day I was able to get in all 8 glasses of water. I have not been able to go over 500 calories a day. (I log every single thing into thedailyplate.com). I wonder how many calories we are to be getting in this phase?
