Hey just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Heather and I live in Gig Harbor, WA. After going round and round with the military insurance and all of the paperwork shuffle, I will be banded on August 15th!!! I cannot wait!!:)

Hi, Heather! I lived in Gig Harbor for almost 30 years, and my daughter still lives there. Plus, my birthday is August 15. My daughter, my husband, my daughter's boyfriend, his mother and I are all bandsters. Our Fourth of July barbecue was pretty interesting! Best wishes for a successful and complication-free surgery. There is a support group that meets in Gig Harbor, I think, plus one that meets monthly in Port Orchard. Welcome to the club!

How cool! Thank you for the reply! I found a great group that meets at the new Borders in Uptown Gig Harbor every Thurs night.

I cannot wait. It seems like it just can't come soon enough!
