Banded Monday...

Hi everyone. I was banded this past Monday the 14th and I am feeling pretty good. The worst pain is the air pocket in my shoulder which comes and goes. I am trying to walk as much as possible and are following the liquid diet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks..:cool2:

Got the SAME issue!! Was banded last week Friday - I don't have any easy answers, but I have heard that walking and stretching can help. I found that if I miss my pain meds or Tylenol, I'm much more aware of the pain. Other than that - I think it's a waiting game - I think it can take up to 2 weeks for the gas to fully work through our bodies. But, you know - in 6 months from now when we're sliding on smaller jeans and thrilled we finally have control over our eating - this current pain will be just a distant memory! Good luck!

Hope you are doing well.... I am curious to see how your doing... How are your drinks coming are you able to get them down?

I was banded monday also and have the same pain in my shoulder. Your post made me feel better. I am not taking anthing for pain as I can't stand the crushed meds. Good luck

I was re-banded on the 14th, too. I don't have the shoulder pain though. I came back to work today and feeling pretty good :-)

I go to the doc for follow up tomorrow. I gotta say I am looking forward to the liquid phase being over!

Take care all!
