I had my surgery on the 9th, and I know EXACTLY how you feel! I'm not really that hungry, and I have to force protein and water into my system. I just sip on 16 oz bottle of water for an hour, and then protien for 3. Good luck to you, honey!

thank u good luck 2 u also!!!

the first couple days are the roughest! Walk just a little bit every couple hours or so, but don't over do it the first 2 days.

sleeping, unfortunately, is a bit rough. They don't want you to lay flat at all! It is pretty painful anyway, so prop yourself up. Don't be freaked out if you wake up a bunch of times in the middle of the night. I didn't sleep through the night for awhile. The pain will subside soon, hang in there! Take your liquid tylenol. (if u have it)

GOOD LUCK on your journey!!

Just wanted to say congrats, and wishing you a speedy recovery

Hang in there honey...we're all cheering for you! Have you tried the strips for the gas? I think that they are Mylanta or Maalox? I've seen on other boards where folks have suggested them instead of liquids or other stuff. I don't know if they actually help, but you let us know, k?

First of all, congratulations... The walking around helped me with the pain in my chest. I slept in the chair with the ottoman and used a lot of pillows for support.

This too shall pass... Don't worry..

Don't do too much and get some rest.

Take care.. We are all here for ya.

Good luck.:biggrin2:
