Hello from La

Hello from Louisiana. This is my first post. I had lap-band surgery 3/5/08 and have lost only 19lbs. It's been pretty frustrating because the weight hasn't been coming off as quickly as I had anticipated. I've had 3 fills. I am at 3.5cc's and I am exercising at least 4 days a week. Not sure what the problem is. I feel like the band is working because I am only eating a very small amount of food and I feel satisified when I eat. To be honest I don't know if I'm eating enough. Any thoughts???

Hey Tootie, former New Orleanian here and with the fabulous food down there, it would be pretty hard to lose weight. In fact, that's where I gained a lot of mine!

But seriously, I'm sure it's frustrating for you. Are you tracking your food? Do you know how many calories a day you're eating, how much Protein, and how many carbs? That information would be helpful.

I haven't been keeping up with my journal regularly. I guess I need to start paying closer attention. It's just hard to calculate how many calories/carbs in a few bites of something.
