Hello!

This is my first time posting! I have been to this site many times in the last couple of weeks. I had an appointment with my doctor today, he is putting in a referral to the surgeon this week. I am so excited and nervous at the same time. How long do you have to wait after seeing the surgeon before you have the lapband surgery?:wink2:

    Hi Betsy!

    Everyone experiences different "turn times" depending on your medical provider. Some people wait 1-2 years (unfortunately) for approval, some as short as a few weeks. My time from start to finish was 2 months. Call your insurance and ask!
