  7. I just heard from my Doctor...I'm having my Lapband surgery January 12, 2009! I am so excited!!!! I have been going thru the process since July 29, 2008 and it is finally going to happen. I also feel a little scared and doubting myself now that its really going to happen. I'm afraid I will fail at this like all the other diets I've been on. I guess I should be happy and not worry! Yeah right!:whatchutalkingabout

  11. I am from virginia, but having my surgery in NC. I am going thru the process of all the testing. All my testing will be Oct 13 and Oct 16. Hopefully after the test results come in and they send everything to my insurance, I too will have a surgery date!!! I am so excited! I have already started a swimnastic class to help the weight loss before the surgery. Where are you having your surgery. Mine will be done a Mose Cone in Greensboro.
  12. The city that I live in - Martinsville - doesn't do the surgery. I could have went to Roanoke, but they wanted you to be on a diet for 6 months. I have been on a diet all my adult life and didn't want to wait another 6 months.
