Hey Donna,

Do I have permission to post some of the pictures we took yesterday?

I give permission upon reviewing first :) LOL!

Betty, I wish we were ALL located closer...man, can you imagine the blast we could all have!!!!

Pat, I agree with Donna, update that avatar girlie!!!

I'm feeling good with the fill, but really it was just a "tweek" not very much of a fill. Was eating solids today just fine!

hello their well i am being banded in 2 days getting a little nervous for monday but i lost weight in my pre op so that was a good thing, i will keep in touch after my op susie

dj....you're coming to my part of town  I'm about 40 min south of Boston and the same from the Cape depending on where ya staying

susie, I know all about the pre-surgery jitters! for me, THAT was the worse part! After the surgery, things jut healed and settled down...no more heavy anxiety! Try to relax about it if you can. You'll be just fine  and we're all here for you too!

Pat, Diane & Donna: You girls look great! Sounds like you had a blast of an afternoon. I'm jealous. :)

Donna, so you really are a Jersey girl! I am very familiar with the areas you mentioned. Before I moved down here, I was working at a college in Trenton and commuted from Burlington County. My sister is a real estate agent in Moorestown where your brother lives. I miss Burlington County but am getting used to it here. New Jersey is such a small state but it is very regional in nature. You made me laugh with the picnic! I bought a funny cookbook a few years ago with the same title of your picnic... :biggrin2:

Sherry: How's the reflux? Any better? I miss your updates!

It's been challenging here at home. I have my parents (83 & 80) living with me along with my soon to be 14 yo twin boys. My Mom has had some health issues and may possibly be dealing with cancer. A final test/surgical procedure will confirm or dismiss this in early August. Add to that the fact that they had investments in that failed bank (Indymac) and the stress level has been over the top at my house.

So.... it's been fun. Not! I'm still plugging away with maintaining 1200 calories a day. Today, though, I definitely over did it. I went with some girls from work to Bennigan's and ordered from the appetizer menu. BUT...when I tried to look up the calories it was WAY HIGH. Ugh. Anyway, one day of failure and I feel really yucky. This was the feeling in the past that would make me throw in the towel. Obviously I can't and won't this time, but its hard to break old habits and responses.

Tomorrow is a new day!

Well, it is just down right hot here. I think I will go jump in the pool too.

Catch you all later!

Betty,

Last Sunday I jumped in the pool for the first time since surgery. It was almost 5 weeks since surgery. My doctor actually said 6-8 weeks but I thought that was a bit much. I put bandaids over my incisions as a precaution but they were cheapo ones and were dangling when I took off my wet bathing suit. Hopefully it wasn't too soon for me to swim. I did try to do some Water aerobics and boy did I feel it all week. So, maybe that was not too smart of me to do.

I love my pool. That was one of my kids' stipulations when we moved last year. There's one big drawback though. We have a medium sized decorative waterfall and pond behind the pool area. EVERY night a large frog sits on the top step of the pool then proceeds to take a lap or two before promptly exiting the pool. It is so gross! It seems to time this every night when I am letting my dog out for his final business of the day. Of course, this makes the dog crazy. This happened almost every day last summer and is happening again. At the end of last year, my son scooped out this large frog and chucked him about 100 ft + into the marshes. Must of spent the year working his way back LOL.

Oh Trish, I'm so sorry you're going through so much right now. You're such a brave and wonderful daughter to be taking care of BOTH parents. There is definitely a place for you in heaven .

You've got such a great attitude.

Thanks for the compliments, we'll all take them, LOL.

Hugs dear friend....one day at a time.

Trish, thanks for the compliments! Sure wish we could all get together! And Trish, ditto on Pat's comments....one day at a time sweetie.

Pat, love the pic of you at the pool. BTW, got your boat lettering ready.

Good Morning,

Lookie at Pat, what a hottie and I love your new hair do.... you look fantastic. Donna & Diane you goils look great !! Some day I'll get to meet the wonderful Miss Pat

Sherry, move over, this acid crap is really horrible, I don't know why but I woke up this morning litterly choking on it. I'm off to the doctor for some prescription meds this week. I can't go on like this. I'm gonna see my regular doctor, not my LB doc... I really don't want an unfill.. (haven't had one in over a year). Do you think my regular doc will give me meds without having to have a scope shoved down my pie hole?

Anyway....... nothing is new which is good I suppose. We are going to a Luau today...got laundry and stuff to do around the house.

How are you chickies?

.

Eileen - Sorry to hear about the reflux. I know all too well that gross drowning feeling waking you up. My regular doc gave me my prescription. I don't see why your regular doc wouldn't. Just amek sure it's something that can be broken up or if capsule form you can pull the capsule apart. That's what I do. Good luck my friend..

sorry DH calling me for Breakfast and he gets ticked if I eat it cold. (keep telling him by the time I'm done it's always cold lol)

Good Morning Gal Pals!

Eileenie, so sorry you're having reflux, Tums, the smooth ones, kick it for me, although, I just get the heart burn ache in the back when I go to bed, I don't actually get the reflux.

Diane, we'll have to get together and get those letters, are you and Steve taking the boat out tomorrow? If so, stop by, but either way, keep an eye and ear on the weather.

Sherry, they serve the breakfast HOT, when you eat out :scared2:.

Gotta run get dressed, going to the Colonial Downs Horse Track today, wish me luck!

Good Morning Y'all!

I have been a busy camper! We have been running all morning and I am glad it's done!

Pat - You are a hot Mama! I love the pictures and that color is fab on you! I love your hair style on you too! Now, tell us who is who in the other pictures. I don't know which is which! They are both beauties, but I don't know which is Diane and which is Donna. Good luck today!

Eileen - sorry you are having reflux problems too. Dang you and Sherry are going to have to get together and figure out a plan!

Trish - You have a lot on your plate and I compliment you on it. I've been there and done that and I know it's not easy. You will come out a better person for it all though, believe me! The pool thing is not about the swimming, it is about getting an infection from the Water. My doctor said no baths or swimming for 6 weeks.

Diane - Glad you had such at good time at Pat's. How is the fill doing for you?

Donna - I guess you had your first drink huh? roflmao!

I have just got approval for a breast reduction, I don't have the date yet, but I probably will next week. I can't wait! I am ready for these big girls to go smaller!

Well, work calls me and if I don't get some done today I will be working the day away tomorrow. I don't want to do that so I better get off my butt and do it.

Later!
