I had surgery the 13th and Im scheduled for a 4 week check with a pooible fill on the 15th of July.

I was banded on June 9 and my first followup was supposed to be on July 11th. I was on the liquid diet and feeling quite hungry by about day 10 so I called the Dr's office and they allowed me to get my first fill at 2 weeks post-op. I feel much better now and can tell a difference. I was afraid I would not be able to stick to the diet if I didn't get that first fill. I will still see my doctor on July 11th and they may have to adjust a little more. I have lost 22 lbs

My doctor is also part of the 6-8 weeks group. If you were able to get one sooner, you are very lucky. I am also feeling hunger pains, but fighting them as best I can. Protein shakes help as does water. Hoping that continues until I can finally be filled 8/5!
