Onederland!

When I first started hanging around this site back in Oct. 07, I remember seeing people talking about onederland and not knowing what it was. Then I figured it out, but remember thinking "Wow, I wonder if I can ever get to "Onederland." First I had to get insurance approval, which I did and had the surgery on March 14, 2008. Well, today I reached Onederland!!! Yeah!!!! I am so thrilled and very retrospective at the same time. I have spent alot of time trying to work on the "why" of the weight gain over the years, so today I really feel like a different person. I am so happy to be at this point, feeling so good physically and mentally.

So to all of you just beginning your journey, good luck and best wishes, you will be amazed at the wonderful life you are embarking upon.

Congratulations! I came to Onederland back in April and it's a great place to be. It was a very emotional thing for me.

It's quite an accomplishment. Enjoy, and keep working hard at getting to your goal.

Sue, I remember reading alot of your posts. Catchy name I guess. Anyway, just wanted to say you have done an amazing job. Wow, what success you have had, congratulations. You are my hero! You are my new inspiration.

Onederland is when the scale gets below 200 into the 100's!

Congratulations on hitting Onederland, Lonestar! Great job!!

I hate to say it, but a year ago I was 2 pounds away from hitting it..... and I don't know what happened to my frame of mind but I just couldn't or wouldn't do it. Instead I gained even more weight (reminds me of that TV commercial where the man's voice says "Have you gained MORE weight?".....) and ended up at 255 by April of this year and I was banded on May 15th. So now I'm working my way back down and believe me, this time I will not stop without getting to Onederland myself!!

Wow onderland. I left that town a long time ago. I can't wait to move back. Congrats on your recent move and I hope your house gets smaller and smaller.

I don't even remember what wonderland looks like. I remember being 200 in 9th grade though. I'm sure it will be a huge emotional time for me when I do get there!!

Congrats on your accomplishment!!!

I have finally reached ONERDERLAND too!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was banded exactly 2 months ago and feel fantastic. I can't believe I am here. I owe so much to everyone on this site. I don't think I could have been so successful without everyones help. Everyone is truly amazing. What a feeling it is to know that I WILL never be in the 2's again!!!!!

I hit onederland last month as well. It's been about 13 years since I've been here. It feels great. I've stalled a little, but my clothes keep fitting looser. I've been wearing a lot of old clothes lately, but finally went shopping for new stuff this past weekend. I ran out of old clothes that fit!! I even bought a new swimsuit!
