DAY 6 Post opp.

Hello, ok im 6 days out, feeling fine just sore still. Im so confused whether im hungry or what? I can eat and then fill hungry like two hours later. It might be that im not eating meats, and mostly liquids! I feel discouraged because im not feelin as full as i hoped too. Maybe i will with my first fill?? Any help?? *Elizabeth*

It just takes time, ebeth. Most of us would still be on clear liquids on day 6. Did your doc or nutritionist give you a plan for what you should or shouldn't eat? This is the time you want your stomach to concentrate on healing from the surgery, not digesting food, so take it easy.

I know how you feel, I am on day 7 today and yeah I am hungary.

As the other poster said they purpose of the liquid diet isn't to fill you up but to help your stomach to heal.

I can honestly say I am starving, but am sitting here in work with a bottle of Water beside me, having a yoghurt for morning break, Soup for lunch and then at home this evening I have pureed cauliflower with pureed baked Beans - realy craved this yesterday(cauliflower takes a little like mashed pots except without the calories)
