Newbie

I have just started by weight loss journey. I am seeing a doctor in Nashville TN (Vanderbilt). I have to lose 20 lbs before my insurance will pay for the surgery. Is anyone else from the TN KY area.

Hi and Welcome! I am not from TN/KY but there is a thread in the forums that lists the different states... That would bring you closer to people in your area

hey Anitamc! I'm from the Hendersonville area! I'm approved for the surgery, but have to jump thru the insurance hoops. I'm on my second month of the physician approved diet. (no my year of LA weight loss didn't count). I'm going to Baptist for my surgery hopefully the first of december. I have found this is a great place for support and information. Lots of great people being really honest.

I had the surgery 7 weeks ago and had my first fill on the 4th. Find my brain still doesn't really accept the idea of such a small amount of food being OK.

Had the surgery at Baptist Hospital with Dr. Morton. I think anyone who has access to this combination should seriously consider it. Surgery went good and support is great.
