Marking time

Hi there! Well.. here I am just marking time and doing my 6 months. I go for my second month 'weigh in" thursday. I'm down about 2 pounds (sigh). I just can't seem to motivate myself to anothe "diet". I did LA Weightloss for a year.. lost 20 pounds the first 6 months, and just started struggling again. I'm sooooo tired of it. I'm trying to get motivated again.

Anyone out there looking at a November/December band date?

Molly

hi cleanteeth my 2 weigh in is this friday i,m also doing the 6 months dietian classes, my surgery is around oct, nov can,t wait it seems so long but we will get there. i haven,t lost any lbs yet i call my insurance this morning to get the reasurance again about requirements, each person gives you a different answer this morning she said it was up to the doctor, quick question do you make your own phyc app or do the nurse do it for you, thanks sil.

My banding date should be in november. I'll be done with my nutritional appts for my 2nd month on june 19th hoping I lost more weight. -crosses fingers-

I can relate, believe me. I put myself in the "slow loser" category. I have to really work at it to lose a pound. But I found water seems to help me, also I have had a problem with bowels since surgery, so I have to help them along. Try increasing water and listen to your body, I stopped drinking the protein shakes and adding fiber to my water, and low and behold I started losing!!

thanks for the replys. I really like this site for all the support you get. I have been a Water drinker for years.. It's all I drink. I can't stand the taste of all the artificial sweeterers and even splenda is awful to me, so I try to stay away from them. I have had to break down and start getting used to stuff like the lite yogurt..(yoplait key lime pie... yummy), and sugar free popsicles (if you eat them fast). I'm just kinda over it all right now. I went back to LA yesterday and got a new book and a pep talk, I'm trying!

Sil. That was a good question because I thought they would kinda guide me thru what I needed to do, and they didn't. They gave me the number and I had to make my own appointment. I thought they would call me and tell me what I needed to do. Keep track of all your stuff and ask questions. I missed out on about 2 months waiting on phone calls.
