i am in eastport...exit 70 on the lie...i think i told you the incredible deal i got because my insurance wouldnt cover it either...do you go to any support groups out here... central suffolk hospital has them every second thursday of the month ... that is in riverhead..let me know how both of you longislanders are doing??i am a little over 2 weeks and have lost 16 pounds... i am getting a little discouraged because i am getting hungrier and the scale is slowing down.. i will be getting my first fill in about 3 weeks.. im hoping that will help...:)

Sheri,

I am from the East End (Shoreham) and I go to a stained glass shop in Eastport. I learned stained glass from the owner and have been doing SG for about 6 years now. I'm out there ever Thursday night.

I had my surgery done at Syosset Hospital with Dr. Geiss and go to his support group every month. There is also a Yahoo group I belong to called LIBanders. We meet once a month at a diner in Huntington but I haven't been going there lately.

hey if you are out here every thursday you should try to go to one of the support groups in riverhead... every second thursday of the month 7:00pm... i dont really shop in the town too much since it is mostly antiques and that is not my thing, but i do like stained glass i will have to check that out... im sure it wont be too hard to find since the town of eastport only has about 6 stores lol.

Hey fellow Long Islanders!

I am from Western Suffolk and am looking to be banded by Dr. Geiss. I went to see him about four years ago and then chickened out after the first consultation. I am ready to try this again. MY appt with him is for June 3 and I am so excited!

Would any of you mind checking out how much Dr. Rubenstein charges patients that would be paying cash? I am seriously considering Mexico but I used to live in East Moriches, NY and I visit family often there so I was just wondering. Thanks so much.

Do you have insurance??... i also am pretty sure his first consultation i s free so i would make an appointment and go talk to them... believe me you will get alot of info on that first visit!
