Lap Band Problems

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am 31 yrs. old. I have had the lap band for 3 and a half years now. I had the lap band surgery and ended up getting pregnant 3 months later. The doctor took all the fluid out for the pregnancy and I still have not had it filled. For the three months I had it filled, I either could eat way to much, or could not drink even water. I never did find my sweet spot. I had it filled again 7 months after my baby was born and had the same problem. I am thinking about having it filled and starting the process all over since it has been sitting idle and unfilled for over 2 years now. If I still experience the same issues, I don't know what I will do. :P

I would start the fill process again, but maybe request small fills to ease your way into the proper restriction level. I realize that this could get costly, but it might be worth it to keep from being overfilled.

Good luck in whatever you decide to do!
