is it hunger, gas, or fullness?

2 days post-op. My stomach has this weird feeling, it feels kinda like gas, but maybe fullness, or hunger. This is more confusing than i thought it would be. i cant tell when im hungry because my stomach dosnt really growl. If i coiuld, i probably wouldnt eat anything at all because i dont feel like eating. im so confused.

Hi.. I Felt Like That For The First Few Days And I Just Had Something Light Nce In A While .. Chicken Soup ( Just The Liquid) , Jello, That Kind Of Thing And Eventualy It Goes Away.... For Me The Weird Part Was No Fealing Hungry All The Time .. It Was A Sense Of Being Full That I Had Never Felt Before ... Very Exciting ..

Congrats On Taking The First Step .. . Let Me Know How You Do ...

I also had this experience, and still do (only 4 days post-op). I think it is something we have to learn to interpret. I'm also trying to "think smart for my stomach" and say "I know I need nutrition" so I make myself a CIB shake and sip away.

I want to know if anyone has kinda skipped into week 2 without totally being there... because this clear crap is getting to me please HELP...

I feel that way too, I just had surgery yesterday and I've not been hungry at all (that I can tell of anyway!). I've just had hot tea, water, and protein shakes (and vitamins of course).

I also had those weird feelings that I couldn't interpret. I had my first fill at 2 1/2 weeks post-op and they went away. I can now tell hunger from gas. I did notice at the weird feeling stage that if I drank something, it would feel better, but then it seemed to pass past the band and I would have those feelings back again. With the fill, things do not pass so easy and I don't have that anymore.
