I've been surfing the web for a support group for lap banding and finally found this site:biggrin2:

My name is Leanne, I'm 23 and from London. I am having a lap band fitted on 29th June '08.

I'm really nervous (obviously) and just wanted to speak with other people who have had the surgery.

I'm having my surgery at Dolan Park Hospital and my surgeon is Dr Martin Richardson. I would love to hear from anyone who has been to Dolan Park or had Dr Richardson as their surgeon.
