It's finally over!!! 14 hours after the surgery I'm sitting in my hospital room typing this and watching tv. Haven't had any pain, but feel bloated. Meals have been exciting a eighth of a cup of jello and juice a cup of broth and a decaf coffee, I was surprised it took so long to drink it all. In short everything is going good and looking forward to a bright future.

Congratulations on the successful surgery. Its funny how doctors have their own post surgery menus for us in the hospital. All I had on the first day after surgery was 1/4 cup of ice chips every 4 hours. Rest up the journey is just beginning.

Whoa!!!! Hold up there Bob. You mean to tell me they gave you jello??? I'm SO very envious of your jello. :grouphug: My meal was broth and tea (which I don't care for) and Water. Not that it mattered because my broth was filling enough. Congratulations and all the best to you!
