Traveling and weight issues

I know there are other travelers out there. I just got home from being gone almost a whole month. I was afraid to step on the scale when I get home. I knew I had gained weight. I did manage to weigh myself on some scales while I was gone and it showed I had packed on 10 lbs. I was skeptical but it had an affect on me nonetheless. I got on the home scale this morning and it showed I had only gained 2 lbs from when I left home. HOORAY!!! That is HUGE!!!!!! Only two lbs. And that is most likely water. I am so proud of myself.

Penni, that is a vicotry!!!

It is obvious you worked well with your band while gone

Being on the road, living in a hotel and out of a suitcase for a whole month and only gaining 2 lbs is awesome, you are right , it is probably just water weight from flying, you will be back to your lowest in no time.

You should be proud of yourself :D

If you were flying, make it 3-4 pounds of water weight. Good job. Traveling and maintaining weight can be a nightmare!! Keep it up and continue being a good influence for the rest of us.

Fantastic Penni. That is really , really good. What kind of things or choices did you do? Hotel and restaraunt dining can be really challanging. Got any tips?

Congratulations, Penni! Sounds like traveling is your personal litmus test, and you passed with flying colors. :D Mine is the holidays. I said to someone last year that if I get through the holidays each year and hold steady (which really is what you did, 2 pounds means nothing) I'll consider it a wondrous victory!!

Now its your turn to get the high five! WTG! See??? You were so worried about that stupid scale.

That is awesome, (I can gain 2 pounds just taking a trip to the gas station) How in the heck did you do it?!
