Hi y'all,

I'm Karen and live in Texas. I was banded on 3/21/05 and have lost about 15lbs so far. I told my doctor that I wanted to go to bed tonight and wake up skinny tomorrow. Of course I realize that isn't possible however a girl can dream. I have about 70-80lbs to lose. My goal is to wear a size 10. I haven't done that in 8-10 years. I look foward to being a part of this group and hearing how everyone is getting along. Talk to y'all later. Karen

I am from a small town north of Beaumont, Tx. I've lived here for about 30 years off and on. I am originally from Georgia, north of Atlanta. I was banded on 3/21/05 with my first fill just last week on 4/18/05. I had my first real meal today since the fill. It is definitely different. I'm so glad you wrote to me. Thanks for your welcome. I look foward to hearing from everyone as well as reading all the info on this sight. I had my surgery 3/21/05, lost 12lbs by my first fill on 4/18 and am down another 2 this week. It's slow. I want to go to bed tonight and wake up skinny tomorrow!!! For what it is worth I started this journey 1 year ago at 265 and a size 20/22

Iam now 175 and a size 10

Never thought I'd see a size 10 ever , I do not ever remeber being a size 10 , so it is possible

You will be a size 10 in no time
