I was wondering I am considering the surgery I need to lose weight because I need a transplant. And I have tried everything else and at this point my life depends on it. How long can I expect to wait until I can get the surgery.

I can't answer how long it would take to get the surgery, it depends on if your insurance pays or if you are going to be self-pay. I am self-pay and attended my first seminar at the end of November and have surgery scheduled for June 4th. Insurance has different requirements you must reach before you can have the surgery.

I have a transplant, it will be 4 years in August. How far are you from getting a transplant?

I got my transplant before the lap band. I don't have the lap band yet, 1 week from today.
