Looking forward to the new me!

I am a newbie to LBT and excited to become a member of the band!

I can't believe that after years of thinking about surgery and doing the research, I finally am going to do it! Today I had my first consultation with my surgeon (who I love) and because I have WONDERFUL insurance that does not need pre-certification, I have a date for banding! I still have to do a Psych consult, hPylori test and sonogram of my legs for clots - but I even have a date for Pre-op tests. On June 24th I will start down the road to a new, healthier me! I know it won't be easy but so, so worth it.

I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with all of you - my new best friends. :cursing:

Hi Musicmom,

Much success on your upcoming banding! I will be banded on June 11th. I can't even believe how fast the time is going by. I was going to do this 5 years ago and I backed out the night before. I can't believe that I did that. However, I am ready now and will be starting my liquid diet this coming Wednesday.

I am so ready for the changes that will very soon be coming my way. We all have alot to look forward to and I am happy to have found this sight so, I have people to go on this journey with.

Best of luck to you and keep in touch.

Mo
