I tend to be anemic so I just take one Slow FE tab every morning. It keeps my iron levels in line.

I've been supplementing with a bowl of Total Cereal a couple times a week as it has 100% Iron.

I also have slowFE tablets on hand.

But I asked my doc a couple weeks ago when I went in for my physical if he'd check my iron levels because I thought they were low. They were normal. So I haven't been taking the slowFE.

They put me on slow fe and gave me vitaminb injection to increase the iron levels, and also going to get iron infusion done, doctor said he thought was common to be low in iron if lapbanded,i had never read anywhere anything about iron before.

I take liquid Floradix iron every day. I've tested low on iron after banding. Never had an issue before. I am a regular blood donor so I have to take the supplement or I can't donate.
