I'm not getting banded until the 14th, but I do have PCOS. If you look under the specialty support groups you will find a PCOS group. I'm feeling pretty good about getting the band over the bypass from reading their posts!

I have PCOS and have been banded for close to 3 months. I haven't had any problems with losing weight since being banded, but often struggled beforehand partly due to the PCOS. Also, I used to have a period once or twice a year and now I am as regular as anyone else.

Diagnosed PCOS at the age of 22.........infertility, and crazy periods..

Strict Low Carb straightened out my cycles and allowed me to get preggers (along with supersperm) as you can see from my stats I've had no problems losing weight with my band.
