Hello all -

This is my first post. I had lap band surgery on March 25, 2008 and got my first fill on April 23. So far so good. I was sooooo happy to get off of the liquids and pureed foods. I still mash my food and chew like crazy but I have lost a total of 37 pounds since I filled out the surgery application a year ago. The doctor wanted me to lose 15 pounds before surgery but I lost 22 pounds before surgery. My doctor is Dr. Jay Jan in Portland, Oregon. Lap Band is the best tool for me to lose weight. I haven't had any problems so far. Would love to hear from you'all for any tips that might help me lose some more lbs. Any good recipes?

Barbara
