How do you clean the night before surgery?

I know this is a weird question but my doctor's office gave me these spongey things and told me to clean myself in the shower the night before surgery. I jut can't remember how to use them. She said to use one to clean all over but it's the second one that I can't remember. Is it only for my stomach area? Did anyone else have to do this and if so, please help me out here.

My surgeons office gave me two as well. One to use on my surgical area the night before when I shower and the other to use the morning of surgery on the surgical area when I shower. They told me to take a shower the night before and the morning of surgery. Thats why they gave me two.
