I am so excited; I am now waiting to hear on my insurance approval and I will be banded in June!! I have great insurance and don't expect a problem because I meet every requirement and have 4 co-morbidities.

I feel confident in my choice of Surgeon and in my decision. I want to say that this confidence is in large part due to all I have learned in this forum. Thank you to all of of you who post here. Your stories, insights, struggles, and achievements have prepared me for what's ahead and I am very grateful!!

Good luck to you Mary. I'm waiting for approval from my insurance. I too have found this such a great place to read and learn as well as speak. I'm hoping that I get approved next week .. I may end up waiting until mid July if I don't. I have a hugh family vacation (kids, grandkids and such) in mid june. I look forward to it each year.. it is a highpoint of our year. I just don't want to mess that up, so if I don't get approved this week I may postpone until after the 4th. I just don't want my small grandkids see me not up to par. I only see them twice a year.

I hope you hear from your insurance company soon. I can tell you are really excited about your surgery. Good luck to you and keep us posted okay.
