Newbie~

I have been seriously researching the lab band surgery. I really would like to get it done. I have Aetna insurance through my hubby's employer. They do not cover bariatic procedures. So any advice? Suggestions? Im in the Liberty Missouri area, any docs, clinics, and/or hospitals recommended in the area?

Please help me!

Thanx :confused2:

Well hello neighbor!!

I used the weightloss surgical center in OP KS. My insurence paid all but about $1000. They will file and fight with your insurance... if they still won't cover you there is financing available.

Portal-to-Go Error

Feel free to ask me any questions...

Some options for self pay patients include CO, a Dr. Kirschenbaum does them for around $9000 ( I think) or going to Mexico ( many people on the forum have done that) or finding a local Dr and self pay there (most likely this will be the most expensive choice).

Consider where you will get aftercare and fills, if you do not go with a local Dr.

Check out the boards under "Dr and Hospital section" or go the "State" group you live in and ask for suggestions there. Go to the "USA" support group, then look for your home or a neighboring State.
