Pre-Op and can Hardly Wait!

I started my pre-op diet today. I am scheduled for my surgery on April 17th! I am so excited about this! I have been overweight for 22 years now, and I am finally doing something positive about it. I am 56 years old, have 4 grown children and adopted a 9-year-old. I have to be around to make sure she turns out right! I am doing this for me, but also for her. It is bad enough having an "old" mom, but I don't want her to continue having a "fat" mom.:Dancing_wub:

I'm getting banded on April 17th, so we're surgery date buddies. I'm a mom to an almost four-year-old and a nine-month-old, so I can certainly relate to wanting to get healthy for yourself, but also to make sure you're there for your child(ren) as long as possible.

Best of luck to you!
