Do I need a fill?

Hi this is my first time asking a question. I was banded 1-10-08 I did not have any restriction until my 3rd fill on March 17th. Now the only time I feel restriction is when I do not chew my food enough. I can eat quite a bit of food but try to eat protein and vegetables only. I have not lost any weight since the fill? Wt loss prior to last fill was 19# with a starting weight of 207. Any suggestions?

I am having trouble eating normal meals. I find that chocolate and chips go down easy. HELP!!!

If you can't eat normal food then mostly likely your band is too tight. You might have to chew a lot and take small bites to get "normal" food down, but if you still can't then my guess is too tight! The bad part of being too tight is that only bad foods go down!

Do you track your calories and protein? Do you weigh and measure your food? Are you resorting to softer foods because you have to chew more solid food too much?

when I stall in weight loss, if I track calories for a few days, the problems begin to expose themselves and the answer for why I didn;t lose is usually evident.

however sometimes there are just plateaus ( a rest your body needs form continued weight loss) that happen.
