Hello Everyone:

My name is Anamarie and I had surgery yesterday. I am doing great and trying not to read any of the negative points so that I can stay positive. I have spent the day eating ice chips and slowly made my way through a popscicle and some broth. Woo-hoo! Too exciting. I am going to look on the boards now and see if I can gain any words of wisdom. I am excited to begin the process and look forward to my new, healthier life.

Congratulations! Keep up the wonderful attitude and I'm sure that you will be successful. Good luck and welcome to the board.

Welcome to the club! I was banded on Thursday of last week and I am doing good. I even had a cold on my surgery date and have been coughing and no complaints here about pain. I stopped taking pain meds on Saturday since I wasn't in a lot of pain and couldn't stay awake! lol

Take care and enjoy the rest of the week. I know I will since I don't go back to work until Thursday! Woohoo!!!!
